Tell us about your professional background
Meaghan is an Interior Designer and owns her own interior design firm. Blake works at the Private Bank with Bank of America as a wealth advisor.
Why did you decide to bring Walk Your Plans to your market?

A friend mentioned WYP to me and I looked it up online and it was a perfect solution to lots of problems that I had dealt with in my 20 year career as both a commercial and residential interior designer. In my career I have discussed plans with different clients and all different projects and each time one "gets it and the other person/client doesn't". I thought it would be nice for both parties to understand.
What has surprised you most about the business so far?

We have not opened yet, but I was surprised it was hard to find a space and the amount of money that would need to be spent on a space to fix it up when we did
What’s one thing unique about your local market?

Kansas City is a hidden gem. The city is exploding with excitement and energy. Whether it be the buzz of the World Cup, Travis/Taylor love story or the affordable living. It is booming in both the commercial and residential world with both companies and people wanting to enjoy the energy of a larger city while maintaining a small town feel.
