Alana Coticchia is a marketing and communications leader with a passion for brand storytelling, social media strategy and community-driven growth. As Director of Marketing at Walk Your Plans, she leads national marketing efforts spanning social media, influencer partnerships, public relations, content strategy and brand development as the Cleveland-born company continues expanding across the country. Prior to Walk Your Plans, Alana led social media and influencer marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of regional, national and global brands, with a strong focus on the home, building, design and technology industries. Known for blending strategic thinking with creative execution, she is especially passionate about building brands that create emotional connection, cultural relevance and real-world impact.

What do you really do at Walk Your Plans?
As the Director of Marketing, I help grow the Walk Your Plans brand through social media, content, partnerships, public relations and strategic marketing initiatives across our national network.
How long have you been here?
Since July 2025…and I’ve seen and experienced a lot since then!
What's something people don't know about your role?
While my role is very visible, a lot of my time is spent behind the scenes connecting the dots between teams, partners, licensees, media opportunities and content. And at times it’s a bit chaotic!
Favorite WYP memory?
Favorite (and least favorite) WYP memory? Within my first month at Walk Your Plans, I found myself in a helicopter over Salt Lake City with no doors, a standard seat belt and incredible views thanks to our licensee, Trevor Pyne. It was equal parts breathtaking and terrifying. A memory I'll never forget... and one I'm not sure I'll ever repeat. 😅
In your career, what's one thing you've learned the hard way?
Great leaders know how to manage up. Exceptional leaders know how to support, develop and advocate for the people around them.
Fun fact about yourself?
I flew a Cessna airplane with my dad when I was 3 years old.
Favorite concert you've ever attended?
The pop-up Foo Fighters concert at House of Blues Cleveland the week they were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. RIP Taylor 💔
What's one place still on your travel bucket list?
Bora Bora
Favorite movie?
Almost Famous or Bohemian Rhapsody
Favorite sports team?
Unfortunately, the Cleveland Browns
What's one thing always found in your car?
Dog hair.
Favorite vacation you've ever taken?
Falklands, St Georgia, Island, Antarctica cruise
If money wasn't a factor, what would you be doing tomorrow?
Money can’t buy everything, but it can buy you a boat!
